OVERVIEW: PROCESS OPERATOR TRAINER

We are currently recruiting for a Process Operator Trainer for a well-established technical training provider, providing high-quality training to adult learners and corporate clients.

If you have been thinking about downing your tools and have a genuine desire to move into a training role, and enjoy working in a learning environment, then my client would like to hear from you. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

You will be trained to deliver qualifications within Process Operations to apprentices. You will be a time-served process operator with a desire to pass on your technical knowledge and skills to other process operators.

THE ROLE OF PROCESS OPERATOR TRAINER

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Delivering Process Operator accredited training courses through teaching, training, and holistic assessment methods.
2. Carrying out day-to-day duties associated with successful course delivery: preparing practical bays in the workshop, remedial actions, and responding to any technical queries from clients.
3. Maintaining the best possible relations with clients and companies.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: PROCESS OPERATOR TRAINER

1. Experience as a time-served process operator.
2. NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. Organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to check work.
5. Self-motivated, able to work under own initiative and without supervision.
6. Excellent time management skills to ensure required tasks are monitored and prioritised.
7. Ability to coach and influence a range of audiences effectively.
8. Excellent decision-making skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and to be flexible when required.

SALARY/BENEFITS: PROCESS OPERATOR TRAINER

1. £35,800 starting salary (Mon - Fri, 8.30am-4.30pm, early finish on a Friday).
