Job description

We have a great opportunity to work with our client based in Peterlee. The company requires a number of Process Operatives due to recent expansion. The ideal candidate would have experience operating a forklift truck however this is not essential.

The Process Operator / FLT role works on a Day Shift Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm but may move onto shifts in the future.

The probationary period is paid at: £12.75 per hour and will rise to £13.25 after completion of probation.

Duties of the role include:

• Operating heavy plant machinery
• Adhering to strict health and safety procedures
• General housekeeping of the site
• Being able to use your own initiative
• Working closely with team members to ensure smooth running of the process
• Ability to react to changes in the process
• Operating forklift to move products around the site (once trained)

Desired Experience:

• Experience operating a FLT
