Job summary

O-I in the United Kingdom is seeking an on-site production line operator to run one of three lines, ensuring smooth operation and packing high-quality products for a range of brands.

You will perform quality checks, feed back findings, manage materials, and maintain a hazard-free environment while working a 4 on/4 off, 12-hour shift pattern throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a process manufacturing environment ideally glass or packaging.
• Experience working shifts.

Job Description

You will be responsible for running one of three production lines ensuring that the line runs smoothly and effectively packing high quality products. You will do this be carrying out quality checks, feedback your findings and working to resolve any issues. You are responsible for ensuring that materials are stocked up and your line and working area is effective and hazard free.

We operate an 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shift pattern rotating, 365 days per year.

The salary is £15.48 per hour plus shift allowance and benefits include 26 days holiday, competitive pension scheme, onsite parking, uniform, life insurance, employee assistance programme and quarterly bonus (based on plant performance).
