Job description

As a Production Operative, you will join a friendly and experienced manufacturing team supporting the safe and efficient production of ink products. This is a practical, hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced production environment with strong safety standards and excellent training opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Operating filling equipment for ink production
  • Cleaning and maintaining machinery
  • Using production equipment and instruments safely in line with procedures
  • Operating batch processing machinery
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping in the work areaSupporting goods inwards processes
  • Picking goods for production use
  • Operating a forklift truck (FLT)
  • Demonstrating commitment to safety at all times

You will be a reliable, proactive team player with a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow production processes accurately. Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Qualifications
  • Basic secondary education
  • Good computer and data‑inputting skills
  • Experience in a production environment (preferred)
  • A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork
  • Willingness to take part in improvement activities
  • FLT experience (beneficial)
