Job summary

SPT Labtech in Melbourn near Cambridge is seeking a Process Operative on a temporary 3-month contract to join our consumables production team. You will carry out production tasks and run quality control checks to ensure our customers receive high-quality consumables.

You will work in a cleanroom, follow SOPs, keep accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement while collaborating with a motivated team.

As part of supporting our growing consumables department, we are now recruiting a Process Operative on a temporary 3 month contract to join our SPT Labtech team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the team deliver high quality consumables to meet our customers' expectations. You will be responsible for carrying out production tasks and running quality control checks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Work safely in a cleanroom, maintaining excellent housekeeping whilst following appropriate safety, environment and risk management systems.
• Keep reliable records of work undertaken with results.
• To abide by all company policies and procedures, working safely and reporting any accidents or incidents.
• Meticulously follow work instructions and SOPs (standard operating procedures).
• Maintain accurate production records and work with the team to enhance quality output.
• Contribute to problem-solving activity in the spirit of continuous improvement.
