Job description
Role Purpose

We are recruiting a Process Improvement / Manufacturing Engineer to support operational performance within a fast-paced production environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on improving flow, increasing capacity and reducing waste across product production lines.

This role may also suit candidates from Industrial Engineering, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence backgrounds.

You will spend time on the factory floor analysing real processes, identifying constraints and working with production teams to implement practical, low‑cost improvements. This role is not design‑led and is focused on how work actually happens in reality.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for:

  • Running time and motion studies to understand true process capability
  • Identifying bottlenecks, waste and reliability risks
  • Turning observations into practical, low-cost improvement plans
  • Supporting improvements to workflow, tooling and safe working practices
  • Building simple business cases showing cost, benefit and payback
  • Working closely with production, maintenance and planning teams
  • Presenting clear, structured findings to management
What We Are Looking For

This role will suit someone who:

  • Has experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Is practical, curious and comfortable on the shop floor
  • Enjoys problem solving and improving how work gets done
  • Can work with basic operational data and time-based analysis
  • Can communicate clearly with both operators and managers

Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement or operational excellence methods is highly beneficial. Experience with CNC or semi‑automated equipment is useful but not essential.

Why Apply

You will have the opportunity to make visible, real‑world improvements in a business that values practical thinking and delivery over theory.
