A leading dairy brand in the UK is seeking a Process Engineer to enhance production efficiency and quality. Qualifications

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • An appropriate Engineering qualification is required.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety is essential.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or FMCG environments is preferred but not necessary.
  • Multi-skilled candidates (mechanical/electrical) are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency.
  • Support root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Analyse data and KPIs for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Support new product introductions and process trials.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Monitoring and improving manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality
  • Supporting root cause analysis and troubleshooting of process issues
  • Working closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to implement process improvements
  • Analysing data and KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Supporting new product introductions and process trials
Your shift pattern:
  • 4 on / 4 off rotation (2 days, 2 nights) – providing a consistent work‑life balance
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer
  • An appropriate Engineering qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
  • Ideally you will have worked in food manufacturing or FMCG production environments previously, however this is not absolutely necessary
  • Preferably multi‑skilled (mechanical/electrical)
  • PLC experience would be a bonus
