Ganymede Solutions Ltd is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for a pharma project in Billingham. You will lead a small team, own process engineering activities, and drive delivery while maintaining GMP/GxP standards.
You will review P&IDs, assess process equipment and instrumentation, and oversee calibration points and related documentation. UK eligibility is required; sponsorship is not provided.

Location: Middlesborough
Rate: £45–£50 per hour – Outside IR35
Contract: Initial 3 months, with potential for extension / long-term work
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to support a pharmaceutical project based in Billingham.
The project is currently behind schedule, so this role would suit someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of the process engineering activities and provide technical leadership to a small team of engineers.
You will be heavily involved in reviewing and understanding P&IDs, assessing pharmaceutical process equipment and identifying how equipment and instrumentation operate throughout the process.
A key part of the role will also involve supporting and overseeing calibration activities, including identifying calibration points from P&IDs and ensuring the relevant technical documentation is completed to the required standards.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong Process Engineering background, ideally gained within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or another highly regulated industry.
