Overview

You will complete a 12 month placement within the Raw Board Production department, providing departmental administrative tasks and operational support with a focus on process development and quality.

What you'll be doing
  • Undertake specific projects as allocated by the Process Engineer and Plant Director, making improvement recommendations where appropriate. This may also involve assisting other departments.
  • Perform all allocated tasks for the department in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise with internal / external parties when required.
  • Operate in an efficient and safe manner and also in compliance with any specified risk assessments / method statements.
  • Assist / support with production work as required.
  • Maintain / create reports, technical specifications, statistics and other written documents.
  • Complete and prepare technical and quality reports.
What we need from you
  • Must have successfully completed two years of an appropriate engineering degree course (you are currently an undergraduate!) such as mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be well organised, efficient and have good communication skills.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis / tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are important.
