This on-site role includes supporting project teams, supervising machine installations, and training operators. We're seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer - Tissue to join our innovative team in Deeside. What you’ll do:
  • Supporting the project team in the infrastructure of the factory building.
  • Support in forming technical specifications of machines, buildings and equipment.
  • Support in working with the team to prepare for start‑up and beyond.
  • Training the hired operators.
  • Preparing weekly/monthly project/reports.
  • Support in helping grow a newly developing team
What you’ll bring:
  • Installation, commissioning, start‑up and acceptance test support of machines and equipment.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of a Tissue paper machine, pulping equipment, chemical dosing systems and how they operate.
  • Monitoring of production processes and work methods; collecting, compiling and analysing of production data to identify opportunities to improve production processes.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting by use of various root cause analysis methodology.
  • Being a self‑starter and hard working with a solution‑oriented mindset and the ability to work as a team player.
  • Experience of SAP, SAGE and MS office is essential.
  • Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach.
  • Highly motivated and proactive in order to develop and grow with the business.
  • Work closely with other functions, such as supply chain, procurement to create, develop and deliver new products and innovations.
  • Work and communicate effectively with different departments and functions to deliver against the project network timings and identify and manage risks.
Key Requirements:
  • Degree qualified or equivalent, preferably in Chemical engineering, Process Engineering or similar.
  • Hands‑on experience in manufacturing environments.
  • A creative, logical and analytical mind to generate solutions to technical design problems and understand the risks and solving problems.
  • Ability to respond quickly to change in priorities.
  • You will need to be enthusiastic and self‑motivated with good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate complex engineering and design principles to people at all levels of the business, across different functions.
Working Conditions:

You will work on‑site within a Project village within a major construction site.

The ability to travel both within the UK and overseas is necessary for this position.
