Job summary

JBT Marel – Proseal UK Ltd in Adlington, UK, is seeking a Process Engineer – Production. You will evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, support New Product Introduction (NPI), and drive continuous improvement across production teams.

Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure a smooth transition from design to live production while improving efficiency, throughput and quality. A technical engineering background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Vocational training or qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (e.g. Level 2/Level 3).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Technician role.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a leadership position such as Supervisor or Team Leader.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and engineering drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive and analytical approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop standard work instructions, workflows, and procedures.
