Andrews Recruitment Group invites applications for a site-based Process Engineer role in Buxton, Derbyshire. The position targets improving plant performance, process efficiency, energy consumption and reliability across a continuous-process environment.

The successful candidate will analyse plant performance, identify improvements and work with operations, maintenance, engineering and central technical teams to implement practical solutions. Cement/industrial experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in a process engineering role.
• Strong understanding of process optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of process control and statistical analysis techniques.
• Experience analysing plant data and identifying performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse key process parameters to optimise plant performance.
• Conduct process studies, audits and investigations.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support improvements to plant output, quality, reliability and operating cost.
• Identify opportunities to reduce energy and power consumption.
• Support optimisation of fuel use and alternative fuels/raw materials.
• Troubleshoot process deviations using data and statistical analysis.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
• Support Plant Improvement Plans and wider continuous improvement projects.
• Provide process engineering input into capital expenditure projects.
