Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze process variables to improve product characteristics.
• Optimize manufacturing parameters from raw material to final packaging.
• Lead troubleshooting and implement solutions to reduce downtime and scrap.
• Define SOPs and best practices for extrusion line setup and shutdown.
• Support and develop Shift Technicians, providing clear technical guidance.
• Own and deliver improvement projects aligned with key KPIs.

Skills

Deep understanding of polymers and extrusion processes

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Experience with CI methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Ishikawa)

Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels

Project management capability

Role

As a Process Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing operations - optimising processes, improving efficiency, and driving innovation across extrusion, fabrication, and compounding. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical excellence and lead projects that enhance performance and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Understand and analyse process variables to improve product characteristics
• Optimise manufacturing parameters from raw material to final packaging
• Lead troubleshooting and implement solutions to reduce downtime and scrap
• Define SOPs and best practices for extrusion line setup and shutdown
• Support and develop Shift Technicians, providing clear technical guidance
• Own and deliver improvement projects aligned with key KPIs (OEE, Scrap, Overweight)
• Collaborate with HSE, Quality, CI, Engineering, and Maintenance teams
• Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce new technologies

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CI methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Ishikawa)
