Process Engineer. We are seeking a talented and motivated Process Engineer to join an innovative manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Support project teams in the development of factory infrastructure.
- Assist in creating technical specifications for machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Collaborate with teams to prepare for equipment start-up and operational handover.
- Train newly hired operators.
- Prepare regular project reports (weekly/monthly).
- Contribute to the growth and development of a newly forming team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience with installation, commissioning, start-up, and acceptance testing of machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with production machinery, pulping systems, chemical dosing, and overall process operations.
- Ability to monitor production processes, analyse data, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Strong troubleshooting skills using root cause analysis methodologies.
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency with SAP, SAGE, and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, changing environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, working effectively across multiple departments.
- Experience in supporting product development, innovation, and project delivery timelines.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Working Conditions
- On-site work within a project environment on a major construction site.
- Willingness to travel both nationally and internationally as required
