A leading engineering consultancy in Cambridge is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical direction in water treatment and supply projects. You will ensure design compliance with regulations, mentor junior engineers, and drive sustainability efforts. The ideal candidate will hold an engineering degree and have experience in water-sector projects. Working as a Senior Process Engineer, you will provide engineering technical direction to the discipline engineers in water treatment and supply projects. Part of the role involves providing design support for several water treatment and supply schemes and ensuring all designs fit within the current legislation and standards. The Senior Process Engineer will collaborate with key stakeholders and assist the multi‑disciplinary project teams to ensure the project solution is providing best value for business through being fit for purpose and completed on time, to budget, and to the correct quality. You will be responsible for the checking and reviewing of process design deliverables produced by other process engineers in Alliance to ensure the processes and procedures are followed as well as coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
To be eligible for this dynamic role within Alliance, you should possess a Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification or be able to demonstrate a degree‑level of knowledge through relevant experience. Ideally, you will be chartered or actively pursuing chartered status, coupled with experience in water‑sector assets and capital projects or design and build environment.
