Qualifications

  • Knowledge of pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
  • Prior experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or heavy industry projects.

Job Description

The Job Mission
This is a hybrid role, primarily based in Bridgwater, with flexibility to work from home and local offices. Relocation support is available for those moving closer to site.

You\'ll join our Radwaste Commissioning team, supporting the safe start-up and testing of process systems on a major UK energy project.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and validate commissioning test documentation.
  • Support detailed planning of commissioning activities.
  • Execute system flushing, pump, and valve testing.
  • Analyse test data and produce summary reports.
  • Contribute to design reviews for ease of commissioning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures.
  • Manage risks, changes, and open points effectively.
Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning or industrial testing activities.
  • Understanding of mechanical process and utility systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and drawings.
  • Knowledge of pumps, valves, and associated equipment.
  • Familiarity with commissioning or construction documentation.
  • Prior experience in nuclear, oil & gas, or heavy industry projects.
