My client procures, manufactures and supplies a wide range of food products to thousands of customers from retail supermarkets to casual dining chains, from independent restaurants to FMCG manufacturers.

The company has been recognised as a Sunday Times Best Place to Work.

They are looking for an experienced Process Development Manager to join the business on a 12‑month maternity cover contract to start ASAP.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting into the Head of Technical, responsible for managing process development projects with a hands‑on approach, ensuring smooth product launches and continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.
  • Manage a team of 3 process technologists and 1 specification technologist, owning projects, being on the ground and driving results through direct involvement.
  • Hands‑on upscaling of products, process validations, safety parameters and overseeing compliance side (labelling of products for different countries).
  • Mentor new employees and manage people.
  • Drive R&D, create new ways of working alongside launches.
