Role Overview

We have a unique opportunity for a competent CNC Process Development Engineer to join a busy aerospace engineering company. This role focuses on operator process development, including methods planning and work instruction creation.

Duties

• Help write and manage work instructions that the shop floor machinists use.
• Plan methods and create work instructions.
• Enter instructions into Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).
• Support the wider Manufacturing Support team where necessary.
• Perform data extrapolation and complex process breakdown.

Background

• Mechanical/Precision Engineering qualifications.
• Competent in the use of Solumina (Manufacturing Execution System).
• Exposure and use of SAP (ERP System).
• Understanding of Machine shop fundamentals including CNC.
