Job summary

Anglian Water Services seeks a Works Technician - Process Controller in Dunstable to operate and maintain assets across our water recycling network, ensuring safe, efficient process control. The role involves preventative and reactive servicing, process sampling and energy‑use considerations, with a strong safety focus.

Typical hours are 08:00–16:00, Monday–Friday, with standby and occasional weekend shifts paid as overtime. A full UK driving licence and IT fluency are required for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field/engineering environment preferred.
• Experience in a process/quality assurance setting an advantage.
• Strong health and safety understanding.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assets including tanks, pumps, screens, blowers, valves, motors, meters and compressors.
• Perform preventative and reactive servicing and lubrication.
• Carry out process sampling and escalate issues as needed.
• Follow safety policies and maintain housekeeping.
• Help minimise energy use while ensuring compliance.
• Work in confined spaces and at height within health and safety limits.
