Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading utility company to establish a Process & Automation Centre of Excellence in the UK. The role will drive process discovery, BPMN 2.0 mapping, and the creation of SIPOCs, RACIs and SOPs to enable digitization and automation.

You will analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure governance while maintaining up-to-date process documentation across functions. Collaboration with automation teams and governance adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in process analysis and modeling with BPMN 2.0.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Experience documenting processes and SOPs.
• Familiarity with automation technologies and digital transformation.
• Knowledge of KPI frameworks, SLAs, and performance indicators.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead process discovery activities with interviews, workshops and data reviews.
• Develop precise process maps using BPMN 2.0 and standards.
• Create SIPOCs, RACIs, SOPs, and process hierarchies.
• Analyze performance, risks, pain points, and inefficiencies.
• Support root-cause analysis, bottleneck assessments, and diagnostics.
• Present insights to senior analysts, architects and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, digitization and automation.
• Contribute to pre-automation readiness and governance documentation.
• Collaborate with automation teams for handover of artifacts and requirements.
• Ensure documentation reflects regulatory obligations and compliance.
