Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate activities related to the Problem Resolution Management process.
  • Develop and maintain the Problem Resolution Management Plan.
  • Establish and manage the Problem Log.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes.
  • Monitor and report on problem resolution progress.
  • Facilitate problem review meetings and capture lessons learned.
  • Support internal and external compliance activities.
  • Monitor problem trends and drive preventive actions.
  • Provide metrics regarding project health.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all activities related to the ASPICE-compliant Problem Resolution Management process.
  • Develop and maintain the Problem Resolution Management Plan in alignment with project and customer requirements.
  • Establish and manage the Problem Log, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability of all identified problems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, testing, quality assurance, and customer support) to investigate root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on problem resolution progress, ensuring adherence to SLAs and escalation procedures.
  • Facilitate problem review meetings and ensure lessons learned are captured and shared.
  • Support internal and external ASPICE assessments, audits, and compliance activities related to problem management.
  • Monitor problem trends and drive preventive actions and process improvements.
  • Provide metrics to management regarding project health, defects, and issues

SKILLS
Must have
  • Proven experience in problem management within the automotive or embedded systems domain.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, and hardware-software integration.
  • Familiarity with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and other automotive standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, able to communicate with a customer stakeholders, management and a team
  • Analytical mindset, skilled in root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Attention to detail, ensures accuracy and completeness in documentation and tracking.
  • Resilience and adaptability, thrives in dynamic environments and can manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ALM/Octane or equivalent problem tracking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus

Nice to have
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
  • Certification in ITIL or similar service management frameworks
  • Experience with scripting languages, especially Python
