An exciting opportunity to join the Hampshire & IOW Multiagency Personality Service (HMAPS) as a Probation Service Officer. HMAPS is jointly commissioned by NHS England and His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service. The role supports the Offender Personality Disorder (OPD) Pathway and Intensive Interventions and Risk Management (IIRMS), providing psychological case management, intervention, and training to offenders with significant personality difficulties.
Base at a Probation Office near your home with travel to other Probation Offices in Hampshire and to Ravenswood House in Fareham. The role requires flexible travel, including visits to prisons, approved premises and external appointments. Hybrid working arrangements may be available where business need allows.
Starting salary: £26,475. Pay progression through a Competency Based Framework (CBF). Benefits include annual leave, pension, training, networking opportunities and standard civil service benefits. The role may require out‑of‑hours work.
