Southern Water is seeking a Proactive Control Analyst to join the Proactive Control Centre in Worthing. You will analyse data trends from multiple sources to diagnose asset performance issues, schedule remedial work and recommend actions to prevent future incidents, enabling reductions in pollution and improved operational efficiency.

You will manage end-to-end processes, tracking jobs and validating decisions, with a focus on achieving zero pollution by 2040.

By joining this team, you could support the formulation of our ongoing environmental commitments to avoid ongoing pollutions. **What you will be responsible for:** In your role as a Proactive Control Analyst, you will analyse data trends and information from a variety of sources, to diagnose asset performance issues, schedule remedial work and recommend actions to prevent future events and modifications to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the business. You will take action to ensure this timely intervention takes place in order to maintain the functionality of the Company’s assets, deliver reductions in pollution, environmental incidents, and facilitate an increase in operational productivity. Your day-to-day will consists of deep dives into the data, investigating the trends and what they mean in relation to the site in question. If needed, a job is raised for field teams to resolve the issue. This is an end-to-end process so you will track the jobs and gain insight to validate our choices and actions. We will encourage you to question the normal and you will use different interventions where needed. Your role will be crucial to our business objective to meet zero pollutions by 2040 and being passionate about the environment is key to help us on this journey.
