Job summary

Simon Lincoln Recruitment Services in Bristol is seeking a reliable Maintenance Operative to support a busy student accommodation property. The role is temporary, 30 hours per week, from 17th August to approximately 7th September, with tasks focusing on flushing, safety checks, and general maintenance.

The successful candidate will carry out routine checks, inspections and safety-related tasks, and will need to work independently, stay organised and communicate effectively with the site team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Operative or similar role.
• Experience carrying out routine flushing and health and safety checks.
• Good general maintenance skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Reliable, organised and proactive.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine water flushing in line with site procedures
• Complete standard health and safety checks throughout the property
• Carry out basic planned and reactive maintenance tasks
• Identify and report any maintenance or health and safety concerns
• Complete routine property inspections and checks
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a good standard
• Maintain accurate records of checks and completed works
• Support the wider site team with general maintenance requirements as required
