Job summary

A local authority support organization in Birmingham is seeking a Community Safety Street Intervention Officer to enhance safety and quality of life in local communities. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths, along with significant experience in enforcement or customer service settings. This position offers weekly pay at £14.50 per hour with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and enforcement/ASB environments required.
• Ability to apply legislation and manage workload independently.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours including on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-visibility patrols to deter ASB.
• Investigate ASB reports and enforce legislation.
• Engage with communities to address complex needs.
• Provide evidence for legal proceedings.
• Work jointly with Police and other agencies to deliver safety initiatives.
