Job summary

Ellea Nursing is a private homecare provider seeking a Registered Nurse (RGN) with advanced IV therapy skills to join our specialist team across the Midlands. You will deliver hospital-standard care in private homes, supporting patients with diverse clinical needs and ensuring safe, dignified transitions from hospital to home.

As a private adult nurse, you will manage IV therapies, cannulation, and complex medication regimens.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience, ideally in Acute Medicine, A&E, HDU, ITU, or dedicated IV Homecare.
• Advanced proficiency in Intravenous Therapy/Venipuncture and cannulation.
• Active NMC registration with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Independent administration of prescribed IV therapies (antibiotics, anti-emetics, IV fluids) following protocols.
• Manage peripheral cannulas and PICC/CVAD lines, including dressing and care.
• Maintain infection prevention standards and educate clients/caregivers.
• Accurate documentation of care, assessments, meds, and VIP scores; escalate concerns promptly.
