Job summary

HomeOrganisers Ltd is seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a busy family home in Weybridge, Surrey. The role focuses on day-to-day upkeep, laundry and ironing, with some light food preparation. 8 hours per week across two mornings, ASAP start.

The family already has a weekly deeper clean and does not require a driver. You should be organised, proactive and discreet, comfortable around cats, and enjoy working in a family environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a private household.
• Confident with laundry and ironing.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
• Reliable, trustworthy and discreet.
• Friendly and comfortable working in a family home.
• Comfortable around cats.
• Good spoken English.
• Driver not required.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home tidy, organised and well maintained.
• Tidy and clean the kitchen, especially after breakfast.
• Manage household laundry including sorting, washing, ironing and folding.
• Organise wardrobes and clothing; keep belongings in order.
• Organise kitchen cupboards, drawers and utility room.
• Maintain overall household organisation and supplies.
• Assist with weekly meal planning and shopping lists.
• Some light food preparation for family meals.
• Collaborate with the existing weekly cleaner to ensure smooth running.
• Assist with other reasonable household tasks as required.
