Job summary

Exclusive Household Staff in Greenwich seeks an experienced Full-Time Housekeeper/Cook to manage a private household. Working independently, you will maintain exceptionally high standards and handle day-to-day upkeep for a busy family home.

Key duties include deep housekeeping, laundry, pantry and fridge organisation, wardrobe care, and occasional meal preparation. The ideal candidate will have ~10 years’ private-household experience, be discreet, proactive and fully reliable.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years' experience working within private households.
• Excellent housekeeping, laundry and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision.
• A proactive, flexible and positive approach.
• Discreet, reliable and professional.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and cleaning to an exceptional standard
• Full laundry and ironing, including wardrobe care
• Maintaining the overall presentation of both the interior and exterior areas of the property
• Managing household inventories, including cleaning products and general supplies
• Rotating food stock, monitoring expiry dates and ensuring cupboards, pantry and fridges remain well organised
• Ordering cleaning products and household essentials as required
• Managing deliveries, parcels and returns
• Preparing breakfast and lunch for the principals to take to work, along with occasional evening meal preparation
• Working independently and managing daily tasks efficiently
