Hollybank Trustees Ltd invites a Private Housekeeper to join a family home in Bickley, Kent. The role is site-based, part-time with 15 hours per week, typically Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9:30am–2:30pm, with some flexibility.

Pay is £16.10 per hour and the family stresses reliability, discretion and high-quality cleanliness. Situated in a private family residence with parking available; convenient access from Chislehurst or Bickley train stations.

Responsibilities

• Change 3 beds each week with fresh bedding; drying, folding and putting away.
• Ironing on one of the three days (if required).
• Clean bathrooms and kitchen; dust and polish throughout the home.
• Hoovering, mopping floors, and general cleaning.
• Load and unload the dishwasher; clean windows when needed.
• Maintain the home to a high standard and manage tasks independently.

We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and hardworking Private Housekeeper to help maintain a Family Home in Bickley, Kent. There is parking available or it is accessible from Chislehurst or Bickley train station.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working independently to a high standard. In return for your dedication and hard work you can expect:

• Location: Bickley
• Pay: £16.10 per hour
• Hours: Monday, Thursday and Friday every week (this is negotiable depending on availability)
• Time: 9:30am – 2:30pm (There is flexibility between the hours of 9am and 3pm)
• Total: 15 hours per week

About the role:

• Changing 3 beds each week, including drying, folding and putting away clean bedding or putting back on the beds.
• Ironing – 1 of the 3 days may be dedicated to ironing
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen
• Dusting and polishing throughout the home
• Hoovering
• Mopping floors
• Loading and emptying the dishwasher
• Cleaning windows as and when required
• Cleaning mirrors and cupboards as necessary
• Changing bins
• General housekeeping and maintaining the home to a high standard.
