Job summary

Katherine Shields Private Staff Ltd. is seeking an experienced Housekeeper/Cook for a private residence in Notting Hill. The role can be live-in or live-out, with Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm and flexibility.

You will manage housekeeping, laundry, linen, shopping, and assist the resident chef with meals while caring for a family dog. Excellent references, fluent English, right to work in the UK, discretion, and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-standard private household.
• Confident home cook able to prepare fresh, healthy family-style meals.
• Excellent checkable references.
• Fluent spoken English and discretion are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall care, upkeep and organisation of the residence.
• High-standard laundry and ironing, linen management, wardrobe care.
• Stock control, grocery shopping, deliveries and receiving items.
• Coordinate contractors and identify maintenance needs for the home.
• Prepare meals when the main chef is off and provide cover during holidays.
• Care for a household dog, including feeding, walking and arranging appointments.
• Support household security and discreetly manage household operations.
