Job summary

Chadwick Nott is working with a prominent mid-market City law firm expanding its Private Funds practice. The role concentrates on fund formation, secondaries and co-investments, with close collaboration to the partner leading the team.

The successful candidate will have 2–5 PQE and 2–5 years’ private funds experience in a law firm, with clear potential for accelerated progression within a supportive, long-term culture that values balance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 PQE in England & Wales or commonwealth.
• 2–5 years private funds experience in a law firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund formation and secondary transactions.
• Handle carried interest arrangements, restructurings, continuation funds.

Job Title: Private Funds Associate- Fast growing team- Mid Sized City law firm

Salary: £98,000- £110,000

PQE Level: 2-5 PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-Time

Our client is a strong mid- market City law firm which is expanding and investing for the long term and is known for having one of the most supportive and collaborative cultures in the City.

Role

• Fund formation, Secondaries, Co-investments including co-written transactions
• Secondaries, carried interest arrangements, fund restructurings, continuation funds, liquidity events

Successful candidate

• 2-5 PQE qualified solicitor in England & Wales or commonwealth
• 2-5 years private funds experience gained within a law firm
