Chadwick Nott seeks a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Private Family team in Exeter on a hybrid basis, handling a broad range of privately funded family matters and offering strong career development opportunities.

The candidate should have NQ-3 years' PQE in family law, genuine interest in private family work, excellent client care, and the ability to collaborate within a close-knit team and work independently when needed.

Qualifications

• NQ-3 years' PQE in family law
• Genuine interest and experience in private family work
• Strong communication and client care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team
• Confidence to work independently when required

Responsibilities

• Work on privately funded family matters including: divorce and financial remedy
• Manage your own caseload with support from experienced colleagues
• Provide clear, empathetic and commercially aware advice
• Handle TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act disputes
• Injunctions where required and client guidance
