About Mentis

Our founders are ex-Lazard and ex-Partners Group and we're headquartered in London and San Francisco. Mentis AI brings real-world expertise from finance, healthcare, and law into AI model training. We bridge the gap between human and artificial intelligence.

For this project we're looking for current or former Equity Research professionals who want to contribute towards the direction of AI in equity research workflows.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and market sizing analyses to improve AI-generated content in private equity.
• Review investment summaries and memos to ensure alignment with industry standards and accuracy.
• Develop comprehensive due diligence processes, investment committee discussion materials, and other private equity specific materials for AI training.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and other domain experts to refine model outputs and enhance training data quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to AI model performance improvements.

What we\'re looking for

• At least 2 years of experience in at a top tier private equity fund
• Outstanding academic performance from a top tier university
• Deep expertise in buyside deal execution and project management, investment memo preparation, and financial modelling
• Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet, or other financial tools
• Effective communication skills to articulate investment ideas clearly and concisely
