A prestigious international law firm in London is seeking a Private Equity Paralegal to support two Partners and further develop their career within an ambitious team. The role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 per annum and a hybrid working model (3 days in the office and 2 days from home). Responsibilities

  • Assist with closing – preparing signing packs, coordinating signing and completion.
  • Filing and transaction document management using the firm’s document management system.
  • Liaise with opposing Counsel including overseas Counsel.
  • Support Partners and Associates with updating of precedents and legal research.
  • Help maintain knowledge management resources.
  • Undertake searches and other routine enquiries.

Key Responsibilities of the Private Equity Paralegal:
  • Assist with closing – preparing signing packs, coordinating signing and completion.
  • Filing and transaction document management using the firm’s document management system.
  • Liaise with opposing Counsel including overseas Counsel and running conditions precedent processes.
  • Support Partners and Associates with updating of precedents, legal research, pitch documents, and responses to tenders as requested.
  • Help maintain knowledge management resources, ensuring resources and properly organised and accessible.
  • Undertake searches and other routine enquires e.g. Companies House.
Skills & Requirements of the Private Equity Paralegal:
  • Excellent academics and completion of the LPC and BPTC.
  • Previous paralegal experience is essential.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent drafting, presentation, and communication skills.
