Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Origination: Source opportunities through advisor networks and proactive outreach; screen investments and prepare IC materials
  • Transaction Execution: Lead financial modelling, valuation, due diligence coordination; prepare investment memos and manage deals from LOI to close
  • Portfolio Management: Support boards, monitor performance, identify value creation initiatives, execute buy-and-build strategies
  • Sector Coverage: Develop deep expertise in Healthcare, Technology, Business Services, Industrials, or Consumer sectors
Candidate Profile

Essential Requirements:

  • 2-4 years in private equity, investment banking (M&A), or corporate development
  • Advanced financial modelling (LBOs, DCF, comps) and transaction execution experience
  • Strong academic credentials (2:1+ from leading university)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine passion for backing management teams
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative working style

Desirable:

  • UK mid-market transaction experience (£10-100M EV)
  • Sector exposure in Healthcare, Technology, Business Services, Industrials, or Consumer
  • Understanding of private equity value creation methodologies
  • ACA or CFA qualifications
