Key Responsibilities
- Deal Origination: Source opportunities through advisor networks and proactive outreach; screen investments and prepare IC materials
- Transaction Execution: Lead financial modelling, valuation, due diligence coordination; prepare investment memos and manage deals from LOI to close
- Portfolio Management: Support boards, monitor performance, identify value creation initiatives, execute buy-and-build strategies
- Sector Coverage: Develop deep expertise in Healthcare, Technology, Business Services, Industrials, or Consumer sectors
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- 2-4 years in private equity, investment banking (M&A), or corporate development
- Advanced financial modelling (LBOs, DCF, comps) and transaction execution experience
- Strong academic credentials (2:1+ from leading university)
- Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine passion for backing management teams
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative working style
Desirable:
- UK mid-market transaction experience (£10-100M EV)
- Sector exposure in Healthcare, Technology, Business Services, Industrials, or Consumer
- Understanding of private equity value creation methodologies
- ACA or CFA qualifications
