Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a capable analyst to support the origination and execution of private equity transactions focused on financial services in emerging and frontier markets. You will conduct market research, screen targets, and analyse investments including financial modelling and valuation, while assisting senior members with due diligence and investment memos.

You will also help prepare committee memos, monitor post‑investment activities and contribute to investor reporting.

Qualifications

Experience in financial modelling and analysis.
Strong report-writing and presentation skills.

Graduate from a leading university with a quantitative or finance focus.

Responsibilities

Support origination and execution of private equity transactions in emerging markets.

Job description

Support the origination and execution of private equity transactions focused on financial services in emerging and frontier markets
Conduct market research, screen potential targets, and analyse potential investments, including financial analysis, structuring, and valuation
Develop understanding of markets and generate deal ideas with the private equity team
Assist senior team members with due diligence, financial analysis, and financial modelling on transactions
Support preparation of investment memos for the Investment Committee
Monitor transactions post-investment, including valuation and asset management activities
Support monthly and quarterly valuation reports to the valuation committee
Support quarterly investor reports and weekly reports to the Global Private Equity forum
Prepare ad-hoc reports for Annual General Meetings and investor presentations
Support senior leadership in RFP and fundraising form preparation and reporting
Work closely with local investment teams around the globe

Requirements

1-3 years of relevant work experience with a leading firm in Private Equity or Corporate Finance firm
Experience in Climate-focused Private Equity is an advantage
Strong analytical and technical skills, including financial modelling
Strong report-writing and presentation skills
Ability to prepare clear, compelling recurring PowerPoint and Word presentations for senior stakeholders
Previous experience in financial services and emerging markets
Graduate from a leading university
Fluency in Spanish would be an advantage
Analytical skills and aptitude to produce reports are mandatory requirements
Ability to work autonomously and proactively and take on responsibility quickly
Passion for Impact Investing and Emerging Markets
