Job summary

Metis Search is seeking an Associate to join its Private Credit Asset Management team in London. The role focuses on portfolio management, investing and credit risk across a range of structured lending transactions, with exposure from initial closing through to exit or refinancing.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' experience in private credit, structured credit or related desks.
• Experience within private markets or asset management is valued.
• Strong understanding of investment processes and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of structured credit investments, understanding each investment’s structure and repayment profile.
• Monitor performance against underwriting assumptions, covenant packages and reporting obligations.
• Identify risks and opportunities and recommend actions to protect capital and maximise value.
• Lead waivers, amendments, extensions, refinancings and other lifecycle events.
• Develop relationships with borrowers, sponsors, lenders and advisers and present to governance committees.
