Job summary

Attribution Search is seeking a skilled financial modeller to join its expanding European private credit platform. In a newly created role, you will work closely with the European investment team and senior leadership on financial analysis, fund liquidity, leverage management, and business reporting.

You will gain exposure to the investment team and broader business, collaborating with Finance, Operations, Engineering and Investor Relations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial modelling or related fields.
• Strong financial modelling skills with scenario/sensitivity analysis.
• Knowledge of fund financing and leverage dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficient PowerPoint for presentations.
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience with AI tools and emerging technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain fund-level financial models and scenario analyses.
• Manage leverage facilities, borrowing bases, and lender communications.
• Coordinate fund liquidity, capital calls, distributions, drawdowns and repayments.
• Produce portfolio analytics and KPI reporting for senior leadership.
• Prepare investment reports covering pipeline and performance.
• Support investment execution and deal closings.
• Assist with valuations and investor reporting.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to automate metrics.
• Support FX hedging initiatives and other financial projects.

Job description

An opportunity to join one of the leading global alternative investment firms in a newly created role supporting its growing European private credit platform.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong financial modelling background who is looking to take on a broader, more commercially focused role. Working closely with the European investment team and senior leadership, you will be involved in a range of areas including financial analysis, fund liquidity, leverage management and business reporting.

The role will give you exposure to the investment team and the wider business, working alongside colleagues across Finance, Operations, Engineering and Investor Relations. It's a varied position within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment, offering the chance to take on responsibility and have a real impact on the platform.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Financial Modelling & Analysis: Building and maintaining fund-level financial models, scenario analysis and return projections to support decision-making and assess the use of credit facilities.
• Leverage & Financing Facilities: Managing relationships with banking partners, preparing borrowing base reports, responding to lender requests and coordinating waivers and amendments.
• Fund Liquidity Management: Working with Finance and Operations to coordinate capital calls, investor distributions, facility drawdowns and repayments, helping to manage fund liquidity and leverage.
• Portfolio Analytics: Producing portfolio reports, consolidating company data and monitoring KPIs for senior leadership.
• Investment Reporting: Preparing regular reports covering fund liquidity, investment pipeline and portfolio performance.
• Investment Execution: Supporting the investment team with transaction closings and the fund allocation process.
• Valuations & Investor Reporting: Assisting with periodic valuations, maintaining fund data and responding to investor queries.
• Data & Reporting: Working with Operations and Engineering to improve reporting processes, develop dashboards and automate key metrics.
• Projects: Supporting FX hedging initiatives and a range of other financial and operational projects.

To be considered, you will need:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally gained within financial modelling, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance or a similar environment.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including experience building models and carrying out scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• An understanding of fund financing, credit facilities and how fund-level leverage interacts with underlying portfolio investments.
• Strong Excel skills, alongside good PowerPoint and presentation skills.
• A commercial mindset, with the ability to analyse complex information and turn it into clear, practical recommendations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders across the business.
• Experience using AI tools and emerging technologies would be beneficial.
