Job summary

Pro-Tax is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior Manager in Worcester for a hybrid role with up to £85,000 plus benefits. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts, delivering expert advisory services while leading a talented tax team.

You'll work with Partners, gain exposure to complex planning, and have opportunities for progression in a founder-led, Midlands firm that values relationships, collaboration and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive Private Client Tax and Trust experience in practice.
• Strong knowledge of personal tax, trusts, estates, IHT and CGT.
• Proven track record managing client portfolios and delivering advisory services.
• Leadership or people management experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercial awareness and proactive client service.
• Mentoring and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Private Client & Trust Services compliance offering
• Reviewing Personal and Trust Tax Returns
• Delivering advisory work across Trusts, IHT, CGT and international tax matters
• Managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, families and trusts
• Leading, mentoring and developing members of the tax team
• Managing departmental KPIs, WIP, billing and recoveries
• Building and maintaining strong long-term client relationships
• Supporting business development initiatives and growth opportunities
• Working closely with Partners on complex tax planning and advisory projects
• Providing technical guidance across the wider team
