We’re looking for an experienced Private Client Tax Senior to join our client’s growing team in West Yorkshire. This opportunity will see you work across a varied portfolio of private clients, managing key relationships and supporting a range of tax compliance, planning and advisory projects.
Whether you’re currently working as a Personal Tax Senior, Tax Advisor or Private Client Tax Specialist, this is an excellent opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise and progress your career within a collaborative professional services environment.
You’ll support the delivery of a varied range of Private Client Tax advisory projects, working directly with clients to gather information and keep projects progressing smoothly. You’ll liaise with colleagues across different service lines and external third parties, ensuring everyone remains informed throughout each engagement.
Working closely with the Private Client Tax team, you’ll assist with advice across Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, income tax planning, business restructuring, estates, trusts and Stamp Duty Land Tax, while supporting clients with their ongoing tax compliance requirements. You’ll also identify potential advisory opportunities within the existing compliance portfolio and support senior tax colleagues with ad hoc queries from across the wider business.
Alongside your client work, you’ll keep up to date with changes in tax legislation, identifying potential issues and escalating these to the Senior Tax Manager, Tax Director or Tax Partner where appropriate. You’ll also support the onboarding of new clients, including preparing the required risk management documentation for new matters.
You will have previous experience in a similar role within the Accountancy, Tax or Financial Services sector, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service. You’ll be AAT and/or ATT qualified as a minimum, with practical knowledge of Private Client Tax and experience working directly with clients.
You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build strong professional relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues across different service lines throughout the firm. A proactive, client-focused approach and the ability to consistently deliver a high standard of service are essential. A full UK driving licence is also required for this position.
