Job summary

Reed, a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking a Private Client Tax Semi Senior to join its growing tax team. You will manage a portfolio of personal tax compliance work and work alongside a Personal Tax Director to develop your knowledge of trusts, tax planning, and advisory projects.

Reporting directly to the Personal Tax Director, you will prepare self-assessment returns for private clients including high net worth individuals, pensioners, and estates, liaising

Qualifications

• 3 years' Accountancy Practice experience within Personal Tax Compliance.
• Experience preparing and managing self-assessment tax returns.
• Knowledge of Making Tax Digital.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with the confidence to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Preparing personal tax returns for a portfolio of private clients.
• Managing personal tax compliance work from start to completion.
• Working with a varied client base including high net worth individuals, pensioners and trusts.
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to tax queries.
• Supporting with tax planning and advisory work as your experience develops.
• Working closely with the Personal Tax Director and wider tax team.
