This is an exciting opportunity for a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to play a pivotal role in providing exceptional tax advisory and compliance services. Based in Godalming, you will work within the tax department of a professional services firm, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring efficient tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Provide guidance on complex tax planning matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
  • Review tax returns prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Support clients with HMRC enquiries and investigations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client service and offer value-added tax advice.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members to strengthen the department's capabilities.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Assistant Manager should have:
