Job summary

Chadwick Nott Legal Recruitment is seeking an NQ–2 PQE Private Client Solicitor for a leading Top 100 UK law firm with a strong South West presence in Exeter. The role focuses on sophisticated private wealth matters for HNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and trustees, with supervision as needed.

The ideal candidate will have non-contentious Private Client experience, strong drafting skills, and the ability to develop a career in Private Client within a reputable Exeter team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in non-contentious Private Client / Trusts & Estates work (wills, trusts, estates, and succession planning).
• Strong technical, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Excellent client communication skills and ability to manage matters under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth individuals and families on Wills and succession planning.
• Handle trusts and estate administration, tax and wealth planning, and wealth preservation structures.
• Manage family and business succession matters alongside experienced lawyers.
• Engage in early client contact and take on genuine responsibility from the outset.
