Job summary

TipTopJob in Birmingham is seeking a Private Client Partner with 6+ years PQE to lead and shape the Birmingham Private Client department within a respected national team. The role offers scope to build something significant in Birmingham and drive strategic growth.

You will develop a high-performing team, grow relationships with HNW and UHNW individuals, and advise on wills, trusts, estate planning, probate and LPAs while expanding the department's profile across the West Midlands.

Private Client Solicitor (Partner), 6+ Years PQE, Birmingham, GBP 150,000+ (DOE) : A new opportunity for an ambitious Private Client Partner to take the lead in Birmingham and shape the future of the department. For the right individual, this is an opportunity to build something significant in Birmingham while benefiting from the reputation, infrastructure and client base of an established national team. The Role

• As the senior Private Client lawyer in Birmingham, you'll have the freedom and support to put your own stamp on the department.
• You will be responsible for setting the vision and direction for the Birmingham Private Client practice.
• Building on existing success and identifying new opportunities for growth.
• Developing a high:performing team and creating an environment where talented lawyers can thrive.
• Growing relationships with HNW and UHNW individuals, families, entrepreneurs, business owners and landed estates.
• Advising on sophisticated private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate and succession planning, probate and LPAs.
• Increasing the team's profile across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands through networking, relationship development and thought leadership.

Skills Required

• Applications are sought from Private Client Solicitors with a minimum of 6 Years PQE.
• A strong track record of advising HNW and UHNW individuals and families.
• Experience of leading, mentoring or managing lawyers and developing a successful team.
• Strong technical expertise across core Private Client work, with the commercial awareness to understand the wider needs of your clients.
• A proven ability to develop relationships, generate work and grow a client portfolio.
• The confidence and credibility to represent the firm in the Birmingham and wider Midlands market.
• A collaborative leadership style and the ability to inspire and develop others.
• Ambition to build a leading regional Private Client offering as part of a nationally recognised practice.
• STEP qualification.
