Job description

Are you a Private Client lawyer who enjoys autonomy, meaningful client relationships and the opportunity to build something of your own? We’re supporting a respected law firm in their search for a personable, experienced solicitor or legal executive to establish and grow their Private Client presence in Corby.

This is a new role with real room for development. There’s existing work to step into, but plenty of space for someone with initiative and warmth to shape the future of the service - and ultimately grow a team around them.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll manage your own caseload independently across a full range of Private Client matters, including:

• Estate administration
• Estate and inheritance planning
• Wills
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Trusts

You’ll also work closely with the Commercial teams based in Corby, building strong relationships and offering Private Client support to their clients. A natural interest in building connections and developing new business will help you thrive in this role.

What we’re looking for

• Ideally 3+ years’ PQE (solicitor or legal executive)
• Strong technical knowledge across the full spectrum of Private Client work
• Confident managing files independently
• Comfortable engaging with new contacts and nurturing long‑term relationships
• A self‑starter who enjoys shaping their own path and has an interest in growing a team in the future
