The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Private Client Solicitor with 1+ years PQE to join the firm's thriving private client department in Bridport, Dorset. This role offers a varied and fulfilling caseload, focusing on tax, trusts, and estates. You will be responsible for managing tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, and charities, while advising clients on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax. You will work closely with the probate team on estate tax returns and have the opportunity to handle complex, high-net-worth client matters, including those with international assets and intricate business interests.

With a client base that includes high-net-worth individuals, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the long-term growth and success of the department, particularly through business development. Whether you're a solicitor, lawyer, or legal advisor, this is a great chance to contribute to the expansion of a well-established, forward-thinking team.

About You:

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ years PQE in private client law, with experience in tax, trusts, and estates
• A solid understanding and practical application of the relevant legal principles
• Excellent client care and communication skills, with the ability to independently manage your caseload with guidance from a Partner
• A collaborative, team-focused mindset and an appreciation for the value of every team member
• A proactive and ambitious approach, with excellent interpersonal skills
• A growth-oriented mindset, capable of seeing both the day-to-day details and the bigger picture
