This is a standout opportunity for a Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a growing legal team at the heart of a major trust and fiduciary business.

You’ll provide trusted legal advice and drafting support across a wide range of estate planning and trust matters, including complex wills, tax planning, LPAs and deeds of variation.

You’ll also help guide the work of a large probate team and liaise with key stakeholders internally and externally. This is a rare chance to focus purely on high-quality legal work without the need to generate business or bring a following.

You’ll have plenty of flexibility, the option to work 3 or 4 days if needed, and a supportive, collaborative working culture that allows you to thrive while working on stimulating matters.

Who we’re looking for

• 6+ PQE Private Client Solicitor with strong estate planning and tax experience
• Comfortable drafting complex wills, LPAs, lifetime trusts, and related documents
• Able to advise on trust structures and trust administration
• Confident answering technical queries around probate and capacity issues
• Ideally STEP qualified or actively working towards it
• Commercial, detail-focused and confident working autonomously

What you’ll be doing

• Draft key legal documents including wills, LPAs, deeds and trusts
• Provide technical advice to colleagues in the estate administration team/UK Trust’s business
• Advise on UK trust structures, tax compliance and non-standard asset matters
• Review legal work drafted by colleagues for accuracy
• Assist with complex issues around capacity, powers of attorney and inheritance
