Job summary

KMA Legal Recruitment is assisting a leading South East law firm in recruiting a Private Client Lawyer to join as a Partner. The role offers autonomy to grow the department, build on the existing client base and work with partners across the firm.

You will handle complex private client matters, develop relationships with high net worth clients and contribute to the practice's growth and financial performance. Flexible work options are available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years PQE in private client work.
• Experience advising on complex/high‑value private client matters.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proven track record in business development and client relationship building.
• Following is not essential; STEP membership advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Join as Partner and lead the private client department; shape growth.
• Develop and maintain relationships with high net worth clients.
• Advise on wills, probate, trusts, tax and succession planning, and Powers of Attorney.
• Drive new business and monitor financial performance of the department.
• Collaborate with Partners and colleagues across the firm.
