Job summary

Private Client Solicitor (Partner) is sought to spearhead the Birmingham practice for a national firm. This full-time role offers £150,000 to £225,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and requires at least six years of post-qualification experience.

The selected lawyer will define the department's strategic vision, cultivate new business streams, and nurture a skilled team, leveraging the firm’s infrastructure and client network to grow a substantial Birmingham presence.

Qualifications

• Six+ years PQE in private client law.
• Strong technical expertise in wills, probate, and tax planning.
• Commercial acumen and leadership capability.
• Experience mentoring or leading lawyers and growing a team.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and direction for the Birmingham Private Client practice.
• Build and nurture a high-performing team; foster talent development.
• Grow relationships with HNW and UHNW clients, families, and business owners.
• Develop and implement opportunities for growth leveraging the firm’s network.
