We’re working exclusively on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving Wills & Probate team in Grimsby, now part of a Top 200 law firm.

This role is ideal for a seasoned lawyer who is ready to take on a senior‑level position, manage a varied caseload, contribute to the growth of the team, and help develop the firm’s presence across Yorkshire.

Who we’re looking for
  • A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 10+ years’ PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge across Wills, Trusts, Probate, Tax Planning, LPAs and Court of Protection
  • Confident handling complex or high‑net‑worth estates and managing a full caseload independently
  • Comfortable supervising or mentoring junior team members and supporting the development of others
  • A collaborative, client‑focused professional with excellent communication and organisation skills
What you’ll be doing
  • Managing a diverse caseload including wills, probate, trusts, elderly client matters, and high‑value estate work
  • Working closely with the Head of Department and broader private client network to deliver exceptional client care
  • Supervising and mentoring junior solicitors and paralegals, contributing to team development
  • Participating in marketing and business development to build the firm’s presence in Sheffield and Yorkshire
  • Playing a key role in raising the profile of the department with the aim of achieving future Legal 500 recognition
